We welcome players of all abilities at Norton Hockey Club. This season we can provide hockey for all levels of playing experience and across all ages, from our Hotshots to walking hockey with adult league hockey in between.
We are a very social club and were proud to be crowned the Hockey Club of the year for 2020. We regularly have team and club socials, including race nights, pub golfs and an end of season awards night.
Our teams have thrived in recent years with both 1st teams operating at YNE Division 1 level this coming season with our ladies 1’s winning their respective leagues in back to back seasons, to get to this level. Our mens and ladies 2's are a great mixture of younger and more experienced players, a perfect balance for a hockey team at their level. Our mens 3's are on a rebuild mission and with a exciting young squad, player development is key.
Training at Norton is important for our coaches to get the best out of all players. As well as the obvious physical and skill benefits, the social aspects of hockey are incorporated throughout. Our training times can be found on individual team pages, Ladies on a Tuesday evening and Mens on a Wednesday evening with Junior hockey taking place on Sunday mornings.
